Mokum is still used as a nickname for Amsterdam. The nickname was first considered to be Bargoens, a form of Dutch slang, but in the 20th century it lost its negative sound and is now used as a nickname for Amsterdam in a sentimental context.
Daav is a Dutch company, that was born in 2012 in De Pijp — area, located directly south of Amsterdam's city centre. Most street names in the Pijp are named after Dutch painters, like Jan Steen, Frans Hals, Ruysdael and Vincent van Gogh. Sure, also we have own Red Light Disctrict on de Pijp :)
